01 · Casting
Think in directions, not poses.
It can be helpful to think about the kinds of roles you are currently being seen for, but you do not need to arrive with a fixed plan.
- Casting notes from your agent, if available
- A few believable directions you would like to explore
- Any current headshots you feel are missing something
02 · Wardrobe
Bring a few options you feel good in.
Clothes can gently suggest a casting direction while still feeling comfortable and recognisably like you.
- A mix of necklines or layers, if you have them
- Colours you enjoy wearing and that feel like you
- Clean clothes without large or distracting logos
03 · Grooming
Arrive recognisably yourself.
A headshot should feel like the person who could walk into the audition room next week.
- Make-up can stay natural, in whatever way feels like you
- Bring products for small adjustments, if needed
- If facial hair is part of your range, we can discuss options beforehand
04 · Energy
Give yourself a little breathing room.
You do not need to arrive performing confidence. The first part of the session gives us time to settle in.
- Rest and hydrate as you normally would
- Allow a little extra travel time if that helps you arrive relaxed
- There is no need to practise poses or expressions beforehand
